Another limitation of both problem solving and discovering is that they do not engage students to work cooperatively and that's why there are misunderstandings and limitated solutions, I think.

In both methods students have to apply certain skills and also in both cases the teacher must be a good guide, novice students could get lost practicing either of these.

these are good methods, Discovering, it is great because students deveolp their skills and then they can solve their problems, this can happen with the teachers´help.

Another limitation is that both methods need previous knowledge for a better profit.

I think that these methods are very helpful, specially problem solving because students could apply theory to practice and definitely that is what we need.
